Ian's first morning of preschool at Rocky Creek came on August 31st. With two educators as parents, I think we were just as nervous (and excited) as he was. And, yes, we were "those" parents..Luke with the ipad videoing the whole event and me with my big lens Nikon camera ready to snap any pictures. I laugh at myself as I think back on it. When I was teaching, I giggled under my breath at people like us. But, when it's "my baby boy" everything changes. Ian has a great group of teachers: Ms. Horsey, Mrs. Yarborough (a fellow Clemson fanatic) and Mrs. B. Everyday that I pick him up he talks all the way from school to the house. It makes a Mama proud to hear him talking about learning new things and meeting new friends at school. I also LOVE seeing his work that comes home! As you can see in the bottom pictures, the work is genuine 3 year old work (not cutesy things done by the teachers just to make the parents happy.) Needless to say, we have a happy little boy to be a Rocky Creek Ranger.
