Mr. Determined

Dear friends,

Can you believe how big I am getting? Tomorrow I will be 9 months old and I am such a sweet boy. I am getting lots of hair and my Mommy thinks it is going to be blonde. I am learning so much every single day. Who knew that there was so much to do in this world?

Lately, I have learned...

- That I have an opinion and I don't mind sharing it. I would rather have fruits than vegetables, but most of all I want whatever Mommy and Daddy and Ian are eating. I also really like feeding myself Baby Mum-Mums, Cheerios, and puffs.

- That I want to be mobile! I am so close to crawling and walking. I can pull up on furniture and "cruise" around. I even let go every now and then when I get up the nerve. Right now, while I am trying to learn, I just spin around like a helicopter until I get where I want to go.

- That my smile melts ladies' hearts. I have a killer grin that I flash at ladies young and old and then I have them wrapped around my finger. I use this tactic to get people to hold me and give me lots of snuggle time.

- That I love to explore the house in my walker. It's amazing the places that thing will go. I've almost pulled down the dog food onto my head, I got down the swiffer to play with, and I cleaned off Mommy's bookshelf. It's a blast!

- That I like to play in the pool. My Mommy takes me to our neighborhood pool and I love to kick, kick, kick in the water. I also really like to play in our blow up baby pool with Ian. Hey, we've got to cool off from this Columbia summer somehow!
